The unfolding of the story…
It was in 1982 that the BDL Industries, which would later become Mobiltech Power Systems, drew on their expertise in energy solutions, with regard to the equipment used by companies doing major construction projects, in order to make the most of the market. Initially, Alfred Baldassare had the idea of offering solutions, which would simplify the execution of work achieved with the aid of the technology existing at that time, to the infrastructure industry.
Since the first system developed, named Thunderbolt, which allowed the boosting up of defective batteries and welding from a moving vehicle, the company has come a long way.
In 2010, the company Blainville in Quebec won its first Canadian and American patents for the design of its PowerBoxTM. This leading innovation provided an unparalleled efficiency with regard to the economy of energy. Wanted by all, the PowerBoxTM quickly responded to problems faced by private and public managers.
The commercialization of the PowerBoxTM immediately seduced municipalities and the larger companies doing heavy works into becoming clients.
In early 2014, Alfred Baldassare handed the reins over to a young and dynamic team, but makes sure, by his presence, to support the team so that it continues to pursue the mission of always coming up with tailor-made solutions and marketing them throughout the United States.
